My philosophy as a photographer is rooted in emotion, artistry, and storytelling. I'm about capturing authentic, fleeting moments—the kind that feel nostalgic even as they happen. I'm inspired by film photography and natural light, this gives my photographs a timeless, emotive feel.

MY PHILOSOPHY
My interest in photography started young—borrowing my grandma’s camera, watching my Aunty Bec work as a photographer, and cherishing the Polaroid 600 my great-grandad left behind when I was in high school. I was drawn to making art with my camera, capturing a moment and instantly preserving it—a tangible record of life.
Now, as a Wedding Photographer, that same passion drives me. I don’t just take photos—I capture life as it unfolds. The belly laughs, the tears, the way your hands find each other without thinking. I focus on the little moments that, in the end, are the big moments.
Your wedding isn’t just a day—it’s a chapter in your life story. And it's my job to preserve that feeling in a way that, years from now, brings you right back to it.

I’ll arrive after one too many coffees, buzzing with excitement, ready to capture one of the most memorable days of your life. I start early, quietly slipping into the getting-ready space to catch those little moments—the way your loved ones tear up when you reveal your dress, or your nearest and dearest cracking jokes to ease the nerves.
I’ll be right there during the ceremony, capturing every emotion, every glance, from the moment you lock eyes down the aisle to the final “I do.” Afterward, I’ll be floating around, snapping candid moments and details you might miss—like Aunty Doris having a bit too much champagne.
When it comes to portraits, I’ll guide you just enough to make sure you’re comfortable, but it’s all about keeping things natural. No stiff poses—just you, in the moment, looking your best.
And when the party’s in full swing? I’ll be in the thick of it, photographing the fun and chaos, all while ensuring the day flows smoothly. From the getting-ready prep to the afterparty, I won’t miss a thing. When you look back at these photos, you won’t just remember what happened—you’ll feel it all over again.

I love staying creative, and my background in illustration and graphic design has definitely shaped how I see the world through a lens. Fun fact-I actually used to paint and sell art prints, t-shirts and tote bags. I'd love to weave painting back into my creative life someday!
Right now, though, my favourite thing is hitting up a good-hot sauna and then jumping straight into the ocean, it’s the best way to wake up! In a Perth summer, you’ll find me at Somerville outdoor cinema, sipping on red wine, munching on woodfired pizza, and washing it down with some rocky road chocolate.
